Here is a video that shows how the “shim” is inserted into the Toyota Accelerator Pedal assembly to fix the “sticky” accelerator problem that is involved in the recall. The video does not show how long it takes to get the accelerator pedal out of the car, but once out, you can see how fast this can be repaired.

I would like to see the video that was removed or at least a drawing of the accelerator repair.
I assume the screwdriver was being used to center the small metal plate after insertion.
Video might have been improved by providing a sound/voice description of the work being done by the mechanic.
There was no information how this “fixed” the problem.
But the information given is appreciated.
